Below Zero

Lynda Arnold is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter who has been performing and producing as Divasonic since 2000 in the Bay area.  She bounces back and forth between programming, flute, piano, singing and engineering her sounds and arrangements to mold music that is truly her own.

The sound of Divasonic has come a long way since Lynda’s days of improvising live flute over DJ sets.  Divasonic embodies twisted loops mashed with straight grooves and synths combined with classically infused flute and keyboard improvisation.  Her original lyrics derived from her poetry often touch on spiritual themes and her love drama of the moment. Experimentation is key to the development of the Divasonic and in 2007 released her electro-acoustic album ‘Changing Wind’ on her own Digital Bliss Productions imprint.

The latest Divasonic release ‘Girationz, Luv & High – The Remixes’ (April 2008) features new house, downtempo, hip-hop and breaks remixes of Girationz, Processing…Luv and I Feel High by Jaswho?, DJ F, Matrixx/Dappa Don, Harry O, Return to Mono, the Tunemaster, Gothboy and Divasonic herself.
