 Guts Le Bienheureux
A beat maker who was born in Paris and now resides in Ibiza. He claims that if there is anyone in his life that is guilty of his music addiction it is his Mother who instead of letting her son lay around and be generally lazy, or as he puts it "turn into an overweight and diabetic child" would instead reward him weekly with a new piece of vinyl if he behaved himself. Guts quickly realized if he finished his chores and cleaned his plate he would build up a record collection, which by the age of 9 he had done and became the neighborhood's number one DJ! Le Bienheureux worked many long nights perfecting his scratches and sampling art through the influence of American Hip-Hop such as Public Enemy, KRS One, and EPMD to name a few. In 1990 he created the "Alliance Ethnik" which was also his plunge into production releasing his first album. After hooking up with Bob Powers (A Tribe Called Quest) Guts would really take off and suddenly many of his influences would start to recognize his talents. He would go on to work the turntables for many amazing MC's such as Faster Jay, Big Red, De La Rue, Jay-Dee, Danger Mouse and RJD2 to name a few. Now featured on WAX ON records Guts continues to push the boundaries and bring the funk.
