One of the pioneers of San Francisco’s electro jazz scene, Moped's organic brand of dance music has kept bodies moving since 2002. Multi-tasker Peter Gavin (sax, bass and synth) acts as the "voice" of the otherwise instrumental duo, while drummer Scott Eberhardt keeps the time with polyrhythmic grooves. Interspersed between Avant-Jazz and heady Trip-Hop originals, Moped lightens the mood with campy covers such as Hall and Oat's "Maneater."
