From their early releases "Wide Angle" (1999), "Morning Sci-Fi" (2003), and "I Choose Noise" (2007) all on Distictive Records, the Hybrd sound has influenced the world with their breaks, progressive beats and chillscape masterpieces. In 2000 Moby asked them to support his "Autumn" North American tour, and in 2004 they worked with Harry Gregson Williams to score the film by Tony Scott "Man on Fire." Since they have scored for Ridley Scott's "Kingdom of Heaven" and again for Tony Scott with "Domino" and "Deja Vu". Recently they completed their first solo score for Twisted Pictures "Catacombs". Now working with many talented people the Hybrid Soundsystem is pushing the boundaries once again working with singers John Graham and Charlotte James. Our pick this week is from the forthcoming album release, this cut is titled "Shadows of the City" and features Charlotte James on vocals. You can still hear the distinctive "kicks and beats" that have always made Hybrid unique and fun in the background but clearly this duo has grown and matured into top-notch world talent.
