 Malko started his musical career, like many teen-agers, playing in rock bands and with one they decided to be open-minded, and to include different musical genres such as Funk, Reggae, Jazz, and Hip Hop. As a singer, piano and guitar player, Malko began songwriting in early 2003 and began to produce/write scores, jingles and songs.
In 2005 he started to record an album centered around ideas of voyages and exotic places and released it the end of 2006 on Bonsai Music. To illustrate all his musical ideas, Malko called many friends, all from different cultures, asking them to play or sing such as Hugh Coltman, Coka Brown or Jean-Baptiste Marino. “Open Ticket” is the vision of a musician deeply settled with respect of traditions as well as pushing new doors, crossing borders.
