Danuel Tate is far from your average House music producer and his routes stem deeper than most. Born in Victoria, British Columbia, Danuel trained as a pianist as a child and soon found himself fully immersed in Jazz, traveling and playing extensively around Canada and America - all the while crafting his sound. By the end of these early travels, he began collaborating with long- term friend and DJ, Tyger Dhula.
When Mathew Jonson and Colin De La Plante (aka The Mole) came aboard a few years later, Danuel found himself to be an integral and signature part of two groups that would soon explode onto the international stage - The Modern Deep Left Quartet and Cobblestone Jazz.
His first full solo album, Mexican Hotbox on Wagon Repair, projects with The Modern Deep Left Quartet and a full Cobblestone Jazz studio and performance schedule are his current focuses. Given his past and current successes with solo work, collaboration and live performance, we can safely assume that Tate will continue to shine and set himself and his various projects apart from the rest.
