 Vargo's 10 year anniversary will be accompanied by a very special release: VARGO Lounge - 10 YEARS OF CHILL OUT.The compilation is a tribute to the last (and best) ten years of chill out music. Vargo, one of the most successful chill out acts worldwide, have created a compilation that is as emotional as it's relaxed. The band connected tracks and artists that have accompanied and inspired them during their first decade. The result is a mixture of classics and new pieces that is highly reminiscent of Vargo's own music: relaxing yet interesting, versatile yet with a great flow, deep and yet full of lightness. Vargo themselves contribute a brand new track: "Those Were the Days" – which is at once an emotional look back to old Café del Mar times and an optimistic outlook on things to come. On top of that, the album features two rarities from the Hamburg duo: the hitherto unpublished "Long Chorus Mix" of their hit "The Moment" and a wonderful version of Vargo's classic "Get Back to Serenity" with the gifted Christophe Goze on guitar. Prominent chill out acts and friends of the band like Afterlife, Deep Dive Corp., Chris Zippel, DJ Ping and Christophe Goze have done their bit.
