A BZ friend Alexandra Hampton has been hard at work for years in music. She is dedicated to her sounds of lounge, sophisticated chillout and deep house. After all the years of hard work she is poised to release her first full-length artist album titled 'Origin' under her artist name 'Aandra'.
Aandra (aka Alexandra Hampton) is a composer, producer and instrumentalist from New Jersey. In 2009, she earned a bachelor of music degree in Contemporary Writing and Production from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Alexandra is currently working with Naoki Kenji and Tomio Tremmel’s label, 4mpo (http://4mpo.com/) under her new moniker, Aandra. Her full length album, ‘Origin’ is the first release under the label. She is also producing music with the German label, Lemongrass Music under her full name, Alexandra Hampton.
"Origin" is released on Edition 4mpo you won't be let down if you are looking for some chilled, sexy and deep soulful sounds as Aandra delivers on all points. Mainly a very laid back and relaxing blend of tracks, there are a few that pick up the beat. Overall though this is something to lay back and listen to while enjoying a nice glass of wine.
Beautiful music and wonderful lyrics/vocals, especially on the track "Song of the Sea" featuring Soul Sista Shakti, another BZ friend who is actually Brenda Brewer. It is no wonder that this track caught Below Zero's attention with two amazing female artists behind it.
