James Curd resides in Chicago and has been Djing and making music for the last 15 years. Touring around the world he has played at some of the most respected clubs and festivals from Fabric in London to ParkLife in Australia.

Songs by Curd have been featured in an array of films and T.V. shows such as the hugely popular Greys Anatomy and C.S.I Miami. To add even more diversity to Curd's resume, Grand Theft Auto IV used his song to feature in the game and in their worldwide advertising campaign.

Of late Curd has remixed and worked with many great artist, most recently The Juan Maclean for DFA . He has also worked his magic on Cymande, PNAU for EMI, and The Dukes of Windsor for Island Records to name a few.

We Just Won't Stop is Curd's first record with DFA. He began his affiliation with DFAwhen he contacted James Murphey via email then sending songs exclusive to Murphey for his selection for the label.  We Just Won't Stop features vocals by talented singer and song writer JDub from Chicago. Over a summer weekend in the DFA studios Curd went to NY to mix and perfect the track with Murphey. The final product being a timeless hip house disco dancefloor jam!
