Nicolas Jaar - Variations

Born in New York but quickly located to Santiago de Chile in the 90s only to return to New York as a teenager and started to make electronic music at the age of 14.

Nicolas Jaar's sound was more organic at the time and he was influenced by Mulatu Astatke and Erik Satie.  By the age of 17 he released his debut "The Student EP: on Wolf & Lamb.  

Currently attending Junior at Brown University Nicolas has released a full length album called "Circus Company" as well as EPs on Wolf & Lamb.  His own imprint called, Clown and Sunset is something he is also focusing his attention to building.
