 Soulboy is a UK Scratch DJ Heavily into Breaks/Hip-Hop n' House and Chilled Vibes. His incredible deck talents involve fusing Funk, Hip-Hop, House Music & Breakbeat with his unique skills on the turntables combining Scratching. Mixing,Sampling & Turntablism creating a very rare and raw live performance which has taken many years of practice and experience to develop- Soulboy entertainment 2011. Originally from Edinburgh in Scotland UK he has been collecting mixtapes and following the Hip-Hop Culture from the ripe old age of 7 years old when RUN DMC brought out RAISING HELL in the late 80's. It wasn't until 7 years later after collecting an arsenal of mixtapes, room full of posters and records that he would finally be drawn to the DJ side of things. At 17, he left school to pursue his love of music and worked for a Record Shop in His home city Edinburgh called Backtraxx Records. Where he received a Scotvec certifacate in sales retail aswell as working for various disco companies around the capital which lead him on to work at Edinburgh's Leading Underground Record Shop, Underground Solushn Records, Cockburn St,{Scotlands Biggest Underground Independant Record Shop in the Capital}alongside Ritchie Ruftone 6x DMC DJ ScottishChamp,George T & DJ Simon from tribal Funktion.
